Legendary duo to play Seven at Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. – After more than 30 years of entertaining audiences, country icons the Bellamy Brothers are coming to Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs on Dec. 4 as the brothers’ music finds resurgence in worldwide popularity.
In March, the duo’s 1976 hit single “Let Your Love Flow” shot up to No. 21 on the United Kingdom singles charts after its use in advertising for Barclaycard, which also pushed the song into the Top 50 on the download chart. In total, “Let Your Love Flow” has spent 11 weeks in the UK Top 75 this year, currently residing at No. 49.
“We’ve had other national acts like Sawyer Brown and Chris Cagle pack the house recently with their free shows. We expect Bellamy Brothers to do the same, so make sure you come well before the 10 p.m. start time,” said David Stewart, CEO of Cherokee Nation Entertainment, which operates Cherokee Casinos and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. “This is a band that continues to capture the attention of folks of all ages, so we expect a highly energetic crowd to feed off a stage show that’s been molded over the last three decades.”
To date, the Bellamy Brothers have charted more than a dozen No. 1 singles and more than 50 of their songs have appeared on the U.S. country charts. Among the No. 1 singles the band has released include “Sugar Daddy,” “Do You Love as Good as You Look,” “Redneck Girl,” “Too Much is Not Enough” and “Kids of the Baby Boom.”
Taking advantage of the continued success, earlier this year the band released “Anthology Vol. 1,” which features the band’s collaboration with the Bacon Brothers on “Guilty of the Crime.”
The Bellamy Brothers will be preceded by local country favorite Brian Odle, who will get Seven rockin’ beginning at 7 p.m.
